Beth Chapman
Beth Chapman (* 29. October 1967 in Denver , Colorado as Alice Elizabeth Smith ; † 26. June 2019 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) was an American bounty hunter and reality TV actress .
Chapman was the daughter of professional baseball player Gary Smith (1937-2006), who was active for the Kansas City Athletics . Since 2006 she was married to the bounty hunter Duane Chapman . This relationship resulted in a son and a daughter, and earlier relationships had two more children. She and her husband appeared in the reality TV series Dog - The Bounty Hunter between 2004 and 2012 . Chapman contracted throat cancer in 2017 . She died of the consequences of the disease in June 2019 at the age of 51.
