Betty Gosau
Betty Gosau (born February 16, 1909 in Blankenese ; † December 29, 1999 in Hamburg ) was a German CDU politician and a member of the Hamburg parliament .
Life and politics
Betty Gosau was a saleswoman and housewife. She was married. From the end of 1944 to the end of April 1945 she was imprisoned for “ decomposing military strength ”.
Gosau was appointed to the Appointed Citizenship by the English city commander for Hamburg, General Armitage . She should represent the interests of working women there. From February to June 1946 she was a member of the non-party faction . In June 1946 she switched to the CDU parliamentary group. Like many other members, she resigned from parliament at the end of the Appointed Citizenship in October 1946 .
Betty Gosau was buried in the Blankenese cemetery , grave location: A 296.
