Beverly Piersol

Beverly Piersol (* 1944 in Posstown , USA ) is an American-Austrian installation artist and university lecturer .

Live and act

Piersol studied at the Rhode Island School of Design in New York City from 1962 to 1965 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York in 1970 . From 1973 to 1973 she worked as a teacher and demonstrator at the Carbroundum Museum near Niagara Falls .

She has lived in Vienna since 1977. From 1987 to 1990 she worked as an assistant at the University for Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz and has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since then .

From 1990 to 1992 she taught as a visiting professor at the University of Applied Arts Vienna . From 1994 to 1996 she worked on art in architecture projects in Graz . She realized some programs on ORF-Kunstradio. She has been working at Webster University Vienna since 1995 . Your artistic skills extend to the areas of installation, spatial concept, graphics, art and construction, collaborative projects and projects in public space. She realized projects in Austria, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Italy and Sweden.
