The Beykent University is a private university in Istanbul with currently over 17,000 students. The university has three locations in Istanbul, in Beylikdüzü, Ayazağa and Taksim.

The current Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu was previously the head of the Institute for International Relations.

Several actors and singers known in Turkey such as Murat Dalkılıç , Özgür Çevik , Biray Dalkıran , Gökhan Irmak , Sinem Kobal and Gaye Turgut studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
