Primiero district

The district of Primiero ( German : Primör ) was a political district in the Fürsteten Grafschaft Tirol . The district comprised parts of the Primörs in eastern Trentino . The seat of the district administration was the municipality of Fiera di Primiero . The area was added to Italy after the First World War .

history

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 when the political and judicial administration was separated. The Primiero district was formed from the Primiero judicial district in 1868 .

In 1869, 11,690 people lived in the Primiero district, with 2,374 houses in the district.

The Primiero district covered an area of ​​406.37 km² in 1910 and housed a population of 11,157 people. Of the inhabitants in 1910, 10,663 indicated Italian or Ladin , 245 German and 249 another language as their colloquial language or were alien. In 1910 the district consisted of a judicial district with eight parishes.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain on September 10, 1919 , the district of Primiero was completely slammed into Italy.

At the end of October 1916, the Primiero district comprised the eight municipalities of Canale San Bovo , Fiera di Primiero , Imèr , Mezzano , Sagron-Miss , Siror , Tonadico and Transacqua .
