Bianca Grosse (born January 21, 1977 ) is a German triathlete and cyclist .
Career
In 2011, Bianca Grosse started her first triathlon over the long or Ironman distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) in Frankfurt am Main . In 2012 she won her age group at the Ironman Germany in July , finished eleventh in the overall field of women and qualified for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championships). She was trained by Natascha Schmitt and since 2014 by Mario Schmidt-Wendling.
In 2013 she won the age group 35-39 at Ironman 70.3 Mallorca (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) and qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
In June 2016, Bianca Grosse became German champion in the individual time trial in Nidda .
In June 2019 she won the Middle Moselle Triathlon for the third time after 2017 and 2015 and with her winning time of 2:27:08 h, she improved the course record on the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming in the Moselle , 40 km cycling and 10 km running ). In August, the then 42-year-old won the Austria Triathlon on Lake Neusiedl on the long distance .
