The Big Coleman River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland in the Far North Queensland region on the Cape York Peninsula .
geography
The river has its source south of Mount Walsh , around 220 kilometers northwest of Cooktown and east of the Peninsula Developmental Road . The Big Coleman River flows to the southwest, crosses under the street and together with the Little Coleman River at The Lagoons forms the Coleman River .
