The Bingley Glacier is an Antarctic glacier approximately eight miles in length that drains from the southern slopes of Mount Kirkpatrick , Mount Dickerson, and Barnes Peak , and joins the Beardmore Glacier north of the Adams Mountains .
The glacier was discovered by participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907–1909) led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton . It is named after Bingley , a town in West Yorkshire and ancestral home of the Ernest Shackletons family.
