Bismarckstrasse 67 (Heilbronn)
The house Bismarckstraße 67 in Heilbronn is a former officers' mess and now an under monument protection standing cultural monument . The associated Heilbronn garrison was stationed in the nearby Moltke barracks , built in 1880 .
description
The brick building with stone principal façade was built in 1897/98 to plans by the Heilbronner foreman Martin Keppeler. Julius Fekete describes it as a building of late historicism in a variant linked to classicism or the early Renaissance .
The buffet, cloakrooms and two apartments for officers were on the ground floor of the two-and-a-half-story building. On the upper floor there was a hall, the drawing room and a meeting room. The music salon was on the mezzanine floor . The Burschenkammer and the cook's apartment were also located there.
