Bissières is a town with just under 200 inhabitants in the French Calvados department in Normandy . The existing until 1 January 2017 an independent municipality was part of the Canton Mézidon-Canon and Arrondissement Lisieux and was a member of the municipal association Communauté de communes de la Vallee d'Auge . It was merged with Méry-Corbon to form the Commune nouvelle Méry-Bissières-en-Auge by a decree of 8 September 2016 . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée .

geography

The lowest point is at 13 and the highest at 50 meters above sea level. The municipality marker covered 1.55 km². The neighboring towns are Méry-Corbon in the north and north-east, Magny-le-Freule in the south-east and south, and Croissanville in the west.
