Titular diocese of Allegheny

Allegheny is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

Located in the USA , the Diocese of Allegheny was founded on January 11, 1876 from the territory of the Diocese of Pittsburgh ( Pennsylvania ) and belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Philadelphia .

It was repealed on July 1, 1889, and reverted to Pittsburgh.
