The Bistum Hakha ( lat. : Dioecesis Hakhanensis ) is an in Myanmar preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Hakha .

history

The diocese of Hakha was established on November 21, 1992 by Pope John Paul II from cession of territory to the archdiocese of Mandalay and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese. First Bishop was Nicholas Mang Thang .

On May 22, 2010, the Diocese of Hakha gave up parts of its territory to establish the Diocese of Kalay .
