The diocese Juína ( Latin Dioecesis Iuinensis , Portuguese Diocese de Juína ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Juína in the state of Mato Grosso .

history

The Diocese of Juína was established on December 23, 1997 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad plenius from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Diamantina and the Diocese of Ji-Paraná . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cuiabá as a suffragan .
