history

The diocese of Kabwe was on October 29, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI. Erected from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Mpika and the Archdiocese of Lusaka . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Lusaka as a suffragan . First Bishop was Clement Mulenga SDB .
