The Anlong Diocese ( Latin : Dioecesis Nganlomensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Anlong in the People's Republic of China .

history

Pope Pius XI founded the apostolic prefecture Lanlung with the Breve Quae catholico on February 16, 1922 from cessions of territory of the apostolic vicariates Kuiceu and Canton . On April 27, 1927, the prefecture was raised to the rank of Apostolic Vicariate .

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised to the diocese on April 11, 1946. In 1999 the Chinese government united the dioceses of Anlong, Guiyang and Shiqian to form the diocese of Guizhou, based in the city of Guiyang.
