The Bistum Mongomo ( latin Dioecesis Mongomensis ) is in Equatorial Guinea preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Mongomo .

history

The diocese of Mongomo was established on April 1, 2017 by Pope Francis from cessions of territory from the diocese of Ebebiyin and subordinated to the archdiocese of Malabo as a suffragan diocese. The first bishop was Juan Domingo-Beka Esono Ayang CMF .

The diocese of Mongomo includes the province of Wele-Nzas .
