The Bistum Pankshin ( latin Dioecesis Pankshinensis ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Pankshin .
history
The diocese of Pankshin was established on March 18, 2014 by Pope Francis from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Jos and the Diocese of Shendam and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Jos as a suffragan . Michael Gobal Gokum became the first bishop .
It includes the Local Government Areas of Pankshin, Kanke , Bakkos , Mango and Kanam .
