Senlis diocese
The Diocese of Senlis ( lat. : Dioecesis Silvanectensis ) was one in France situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Senlis .
history
The Senlis diocese was established in the 4th century. The first bishop was Rieul . The diocese of Senlis was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Reims as a suffragan . In 1754 it comprised 72 parishes .
On November 29, 1801, the Diocese of Senlis was dissolved as a result of the Concordat of 1801 by Pope Pius VII with the Papal Bull Qui Christi Domini and the territory was annexed to the Diocese of Beauvais .
