The Diocese of Enshi ( Latin : Dioecesis Scenanensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Enshi in the People's Republic of China .
history
Pope Pius XI founded the Apostolic Vicariate Shihnan on June 14, 1938 out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Ichang .
With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised to the diocese on April 11, 1946.
