The diocese Srikakulam ( lat. : Dioecesis Srikakulamensis ) is in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Srikakulam .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Ad aptius fovendum on July 1, 1993 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Visakhapatnam and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Hyderabad as a suffragan diocese.

On October 16, 2001 it became part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Visakhapatnam.
