The Diocese of Visby ( Swedish Visby stift ) is one of the 13 dioceses within the Church of Sweden . Its area is congruent with the area of ​​the Gotland County , so it consists of the island of Gotland including some smaller neighboring islands.

The diocese is divided into three church districts, which consist of a total of 55 parishes ( församlingar ) . In addition, the 46 parishes of the Church of Sweden abroad are assigned to the Diocese of Visby .

The bishopric is the city of Visby with Visby Cathedral as the episcopal church. Thomas Petersson has been Bishop of Visby since June 2018 .
