The Diocese of Zaria ( Latin Dioecesis Zariensis , English Diocese of Zaria ) is in Nigeria situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Zaria .
history
The diocese of Zaria was established on December 5, 2000 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Totius dominici from cession of territory to the archdiocese of Kaduna and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese. First bishop was George Dodo .
