A few weeks later he finished 32nd on the normal hill at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti . In the 1978/79 ski jumping season , Næs achieved his best result of the season as part of the Swiss Jumper Tour, when he finished second behind Robert Mösching and ahead of Peter Leitner on the Gross-Titlis-Schanze in Engelberg .
