Until December 2006, Blåvandshuk Municipality was a Danish municipality in the then Ribe Office in Jutland . It was named after Cape Blåvands Huk , the westernmost point of the Danish motherland. Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Varde municipality together with the old Varde municipality , the Blaabjerg municipality , the Helle municipality and the Ølgod municipality .
