Career

The attacking midfielder comes from the youth department of Slavia Sofia , where he also began his professional career. For Slavia he played 148 games in the Bulgarian top division and scored 24 goals. During the winter break of the 2005/06 season Georgiew moved to Deportivo Alavés in Spain .

For the 2007/08 season Georgiew moved to MSV Duisburg , who loaned him for a season from Roter Stern . There he was a regular player for the entire season and also contributed two goals, but could not prevent the relegation of the zebras from the 1st Bundesliga at the end of the season. He subsequently left the club because his contract with Red Star had also expired.

From summer 2014 to 2016 he played for Rubin Kazan . He then moved to FK Orenburg , with whom he had to relegate at the end of the 2016/17 season . He ended his career at the end of 2017.
