Bloodsoaked is a brutal death metal band from Raleigh , North Carolina , USA , which was founded in 2006 and of which the only member is Peter Hasselbrack.
history
The band was founded in 2006 by Peter Hasselbrack. In the same year he recorded the CD Brutally Butchered , which was limited to 100 copies. This attracted the attention of the label Comatose Music , which signed the band. The album was released on the label in early 2007. With this release, the band achieved a higher profile and played concerts with bands such as Suffocation , Vital Remains , Incantation , Dying Fetus and Skinless . The band also made two tours across the United States.
In 2008 the band began writing new songs for the album Sadistic Deeds ... Grotesque Memories , which was also released on Comatose Music in April 2009. Shane McFee took over the production and programming of the drum computer for this album. Several appearances in the USA followed in May. In June the first concerts outside the USA began with performances in Mexico . In the same year, professional music videos were created for the songs Rotting in Filth , Suicide and Unborn Horror . Director this was Blake Faucette . There was also another appearance outside the USA in Bogotá , Colombia at the eighth Bogota Death Grind Fest .
On 19 January 2010 attracted Bloodsoaked increasing attention as Rotting in Filth on the Headbangers Ball of MTV played was.
The new album The Death of Hope was released in 2011 through Comatose Music.
style
Particularly characteristic of the band is the extremely deep growling and the fast playing of the drum computer. Lyrically, the songs deal with Gore and the rejection of religion. The band is compared to other bands such as Cannibal Corpse , Obituary and the early works of Deicide .
