Bloom into you ( Japanese や が て 君 に な る , Yagate Kimi ni Naru ) is a manga series by Nio Nakatani that was released in Japan from 2015 to 2019. It was adapted as an anime television series in 2018 . The story is about the love between two high school girls and belongs to the Yuri genre .

content

As a reader of romantic manga, the student Yū Koito expected that, as in the stories, her heart would pound when a boy confessed his love to her. But when this happens at the end of middle school, nothing changes with her. But she also doesn't know how to deal with it and reject it. When she goes to high school and looks for a club, the school committee is recommended to her. There she meets its handsome chairman Tōko Nanami. Yū observes how grown-up and polite Tōko refuses a confession of love and therefore asks her for advice. Tōko helps her and says that she has not felt anything in a boy and is still waiting for the right one. Yū can refuse her admirer, but shortly afterwards it is Tōko who confesses to her that she could fall in love with her. Yū is not sure what that means, and for the time being everything will remain unchanged. Together with Tōko's good friend Saeki and the boy Maki, who is also new to the committee, the election of the head boy is organized.

Surprisingly, Tōko, who is considered the favorite of the election, suggests Yū as the person responsible for the recommendation. She is insecure and refuses, while Saeki is disappointed not to have been nominated. Finally, Yū can be persuaded. Then she confronts Tōko about how she meant it with love, and receives a kiss in response.
