Blue Suede Shoes is an English music documentary about the rockabilly revival by director Curtis Clark from 1980. The film premiered on September 8, 1980 at the Toronto Film Festival .

The film begins with contemporary film and newspaper clippings showing the turmoil of the fans during the screening of the film Out of Control and Bill Haley's arrival and concert appearance in Great Britain in 1957.

The following radio report reports from the 1st Rock 'n' Roll Weekender 1979 in Caister near Great Yarmouth , followed by the arrival of the Teddy Boys and fans. Interviews, concert excerpts, dance scenes and competitions as well as snapshots during the concert give an insight into what is happening on site.
