Isfahan's flower garden

The flower garden of Isfahan ( Persian باغ گلهای اصفهان Bagh e Golha je Esfahan , IPA : bɑɢ ɛ golhɑ jɛ ɛsfɑhɑn ) was one of the largest green space projects in the city of Isfahan , which was implemented in the 1990s. The flower garden fulfills several purposes, such as a leisure , cultural and training center, as well as a research facility . His buildings havetraditional Iranian architectural elements.
The different parts of the garden
The entrance pavilion is 6 m × 9 m and 6 m high. There is an information office inside. The garden landscape can be overlooked from the platform on the first floor. The second floor consists of a hall for film and slide presentations on various types of plants.
The rock garden has an area of 2500 m 2 and is home to around 250 species of mountain flora. On the east side of the rock garden there is a 4 m high waterfall . There is also a pond with water plants . The pond measures 3500 m 2 and is located on the southeast side of the garden. There is also a playground .
Different types of plants, such as seasonal and permanent flowers and ornamental shrubs characterize the garden. In the center, a carpet-like pattern was designed using different flowers. The garden paths have a total area of 5000 m 2 and were covered with different types of granite stones . The garden paths were decorated with the fountains . The rosarium reflects the different types of roses that are grown in Iran. Due to the shortage of flowers in winter, a greenhouse with an area of 700 m 2 was built on the northeast side of the garden. The garden for culinary herbs is 1170 m 2 and has 132 species of culinary herbs from different areas of Iran.
