Boštjan Ficko (born July 12, 1974 in Ljubljana ) is a former Slovenian handball player who was mostly used on the back center .

The 1.87 m tall and 92 kg heavy right-handed player began his professional career in 1994 at the Slovenian club Prule 67 Ljubljana , with whom he became Slovenian champion and cup winner in 2002. He played with Prule in the 1997/98 Euro City Cup , the 1999/2000 and 2000/01 European Cup Winners' Cup, as well as the 2001/02 EHF Cup and the 2002/03 EHF Champions League . In January 2004, the German Bundesliga club HSG Nordhorn signed him . After the second half of the season he returned to Slovenia to RK Slovenj Gradec , with whom he participated in the 2004/05 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 2006/07 EHF Cup. From 2008 he ended his career at RD Merkur .

With the Slovenian national team Boštjan Ficko won the silver medal at the 2004 European Championships in his own country. Ficko played 97 international matches in which he scored 91 goals.
