Boštjan Groznik (born July 8, 1982 in Brezje , SR Slovenia ) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HDD Olimpija Ljubljana since 2002 .

Career

Boštjan Groznik began his career as a hockey player at HK Kranjska Gora , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Slovenian ice hockey league in the 2000/01 season . At the same time, he came in his premiere season to a use for HK Jesenice in the Interliga . With Jesenice, the defender was also runner-up in 2002 behind HDD Olimpija Ljubljana , to which he then moved and for whom he has played exclusively since the 2002/03 season. The national player won the Slovenian championship title with the capital city club in 2003, 2004 and 2007 . Since the 2007/08 season , the left-shooter has been on the ice for Ljubljana in parallel in the Austrian ice hockey league and in 2008 immediately took second place behind EC Red Bull Salzburg with his team . In the following years he also had a regular place in Ljubljana's team from the EBEL.

International

For Slovenia , Groznik took part in the U18 Junior B European Championship 2000 in the junior division. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2006 A World Cup and the 2009 B World Cup .
