Božetín ( German  Fassattengrün ) is a district of the municipality Nový Kostel in the Czech Republic .

geography

It is located two and a half kilometers northwest of Nový Kostel on the left side of the Lubinka brook. The Oldřišská settlement belongs to Božetín .

history

Božetín (Nový Kostel) was founded by the Waldsassen monastery like many places in the Schönbacher Ländchen , which Rüdiger von Sparneck acquired in 1348 . The place belonged from the middle of the 19th century to the judicial district Wildstein or district Eger .

In 1930 Fassattengrün and the district of Ullersgrün had 370 inhabitants. In 1939 Fassattengrün had 343 inhabitants. Between 1938 and 1945 the municipality was part of the German district of Eger . In 1960 it was incorporated into Nový Kostel.
