Bo Emanuelsson

Bo "Emma" Emanuelsson (born December 10, 1943 ) is a former Swedish racing driver .

Career

Bo Emanuelsson was active as a touring and sports car racing driver for three decades from the early 1970s . He achieved his first successes in the Swedish touring car championship , where he won the overall standings in the 1.6-liter class in 1972 and came second overall in groups 2 and 4 in 1973. In the following years further successes were added: the overall victories in the Camaro Cup Sweden in 1975 and 1977 as well as another overall success in the Swedish touring car championship in 1977.

Internationally he was involved in the German racing championship and in 1978 for BMW Sweden in the sports car world championship . The best result was fourth place with rally driver Ingvar Carlsson as a partner in the BMW 320i at the 6-hour race in Dijon .
