Bob Adams (decathlete)

Bob Adams (actually Robert Adams ; born December 20, 1924 in Alsask , Saskatchewan ; † February 23, 2019 ) was a Canadian decathlete , pole vaulter and high jumper .

At the decathlon of the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, he came in 19th place.

In 1954 he was fourth in the pole vault and tenth in the high jump at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver .

In 1952 he became Canadian decathlon champion with his personal best of 6636 points.
