Bobby Burns (born October 7, 1999 in Belfast ) is a Northern Irish football player who is under contract with Heart of Midlothian and loaned to the Newcastle United Jets .
Career
society
Bobby Burns started his career in Northern Ireland. In his youth he played for Lisburn Youth, Cliftonville FC and Glenavon FC . For Glenavon he made his debut in the April 30, 2016 NifL Premiership - season 2015/16 against Linfield FC . After another outing against Glentoran in the 2016/17 season , he was a regular in the team in the 2017/18 season.
In May 2018, the 18-year-old Burns signed a three-year contract with the Scottish first division club Heart of Midlothian . He made his debut for the Hearts on July 18, 2018 in the group stage of the Scottish League Cup against the Cove Rangers . From August 2018 to January 2019, the Hearts awarded him to first division promoted FC Livingston .
National team
Bobby Burns made his Northern Irish U-21 debut against Iceland on March 26, 2018 . In November 2018 he was appointed by the national coach of the senior team Michael O'Neill to the squad for the international matches against Ireland and Austria ; Burns remained without commitment.
