Ground earth station ( English - aeronautical earth station ) is - in accordance with Article 1.82 of the Implementing Regulations for the Radio Service (VO Funk) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as " Earth station of the fixed radio service via satellites or in certain cases of the mobile aeronautical service via satellites , which are are located at a certain fixed point on the ground and which serves to provide a feed connection for the mobile aeronautical radio service via satellite . "
