Bodo Schramm (born August 15, 1932 in Dresden , † December 18, 2006 in Cologne ) was a German painter , graphic artist and glass painter .

From 1953 Schramm studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, specializing in stage design . In 1956 he moved to West Germany and studied painting and sculpture at the academies in West Berlin and Munich until 1966 .

One of Schramm's main works was the design of the glass windows in the St. Ludwig Church in Ibbenbüren . In 1985 he designed the round glass windows for the fourteen stations of the Cross, which he expanded with the Annunciation and Resurrection to include two more stations. As early as 1971, the choir windows were made for St. Ludwig, which were supposed to let the light fall unfiltered onto the design of the front wall, the “red dot” - designed by Rupprecht Geiger . Numerous other designs followed in the area of ​​the Archdiocese of Cologne and the Diocese of Trier.
