Boeny

The Boeny region is located in northwest Madagascar

Boeny is one of the 22 regions of Madagascar . It belongs to the (old) province of Mahajanga in the northwest of the island and is located on the Mozambique Strait . In 2004 there were 543,200 inhabitants in the region.
