The Menabe region is located in western Madagascar

Menabe is one of the 22 regions of Madagascar . It belongs to the (old) province of Toliara in the west of the island and is located on the Mozambique Strait . In 2004, 390,800 people lived in the region.

The Menabe region has an area of ​​46,121 km². The capital is Morondava . In the region there are u. a. the Kirindy-Mitea National Park and the Baobab Alley .
