The Bokhara River is a river in eastern Australia .

Together with the Culgoa River , the Narran River and the Birrie River , it emerges in the southwest of the state of Queensland near Dirranbandi from the floodplain of the Balonne River and crosses the border to New South Wales near the small town of Hebel . The small town of Goodooga is located on the eastern bank of the river . From there the river flows further to the southwest and finally flows below Brewarrina into the Barwon River , a headwaters of the Darling River .
