The Bolaman Irmağı is a river to the Black Sea in the northern Turkish provinces of Ordu and Tokat . The river was called Sidenus in ancient times .

The Bolaman Irmağı rises in the Canik Dağları , a mountain range of the Pontic Mountains . It initially flows west along the provincial border of Tokat and Ordu. Later he turns north and passes the village of Zaferimilli in Ordu Province. Shortly afterwards it flows east past the city of Aybastı . The Bolaman Irmağı then flows through the city of Kabataş . Then the Gölköy Irmağı flows into the river from the right. In Çatalpınar the Eleşi Deresi meets the river from the left. The Bolaman Irmağı continues its course north and flows into the Black Sea in the eastern districts of Fatsa . The river length is around 80 km.
