Bolewice is a village in the municipality of Miedzichowo , in the powiat Nowotomyski , in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . The place is about 9 kilometers north of Nowy Tomyśl and 55 kilometers west of Poznan . Bolewice was first mentioned in writing in 1257 in a document by Przemysł I. At that time it belonged to the Paradies monastery . The parish church in Bolewice was built between 1933 and 1936 based on a design by Marian Andrzejewski.
