The Bolleberget-Schanze is a ski jumping hill in the Swedish city of Bollnäs , which has not been in operation since 2001.

history

The first ski jumps on the Bolleberget were built in 1964. It was a K60, K40 and K20 hill. In 1969, European Junior Championships were held on the K60-Mittelschanze. The winner was Hans-Georg Aschenbach from the GDR. At the Junior World Ski Championships taking place at the same time , the Finn Rauno Miettinen won the Nordic Combined competition , whose jumps were also held on the central hill. In 1987 a normal hill of size K90 was built. The background was that the Swedish championships took place in Bollnäs in 1989. These were won by Jan Boklöv the inventor of the V-style . In 1991, the only World Cup competition on the normal hill that the Swiss Stephan Zünd was able to win was held. After a renovation in 1995, this hill has not been used since 2001.
