The Bolshoi Kisil ( Russian Большой Кизил ; Bashkir Оло Ҡыҙыл ) is a right tributary of the Urals in Bashkortostan and in the Chelyabinsk Oblast in Russia .

The Bolshoi Kisil rises in Bashkortostan between the Uraltau and Kryktytau mountain ranges in the southern Urals . It flows in a southerly direction through the mountains. It turns to the east, cuts through the eastern Ural ridge, crosses the border to Chelyabinsk Oblast and after 172 km meets the Urals on the right at Kisilskoje . The catchment area of the Bolshoi Kisil covers 2080 km².
