BonGusto (until May 2010 under the name "tv.gusto") is a television station dedicated to eating and enjoying. BonGusto shows cooking shows, culinary reports and documentaries.

The specialty program is operated by tv.gusto GmbH as a 24-hour program. In May 2010, broadcasting on free TV was discontinued. Since then, it has only been broadcast on pay TV under the name BonGusto.

The broadcaster received broadcasting approval from the State Agency for Media North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf through the decision of the media commission on June 18, 2004 for a period of 10 years. By decision of July 24, 2014, BonGusto received broadcasting approval for a further 5 years until September 3, 2019.

The managing directors of tv.gusto GmbH are Alexander von Woikowsky and Hans Fink. The company structure of tv.gusto GmbH is made up as follows:

  • Burda Studios GmbH: 83.5%
  • Jörg Schütte: 16.5%

Since April 1, 2015, tv.gusto GmbH has relocated its company location from Cologne to Munich.


BonGusto can be received via digital cable. This requires a receiver that is suitable for DVB-C reception (Digital Broadcasting Video via Cable). The corresponding digital program must be activated via the respective cable network operator.

Alternatively, there is the option of receiving BonGusto via IPTV.
