Bon Accord Harbor is a natural harbor on Kawau Island , which is part of the Auckland Council urban areaon the North Island of New Zealand .

The Bon Accord Harbor is located on the west side of the island Kawau Iceland , about 48 kilometers north of the center of Auckland and about 8 km east of Snells Beach and 14 km east of Warkworth off the east coast of Northland Peninsula . The natural harbor, which narrows to the east like a funnel, has a length of around 3.45 km and, with an average width of around 600 m, measures 1.35 km at its widest point. The coastline has numerous bays and extends over around 12 km. The port entrance extends over a width of around 1.1 km.

The natural harbor has many small bays on its southern shores, which are used by recreational boaters and those looking for relaxation. Numerous small and medium-sized boat moorings are evidence of the intensive use of the water. There are also moorings on the northern banks, but they are not nearly as numerous as on the opposite bank.
