Bon appétit (French for "good appetite") is a feature film by Spanish director and screenwriter David Pinillos from 2010 . The film depicts the relationship that began in a Zurich restaurant between the chef Daniel and the sommelier Hanna.

The Spanish chef Daniel has taken on a new job as a chef in Thomas' posh restaurant in Zurich. There he meets the chef Hugo and the sommelier Hanna.
On the way home Daniel tells that life is much more complicated than in a movie and that in real life it doesn't happen that two people talk and then suddenly kiss. Then Hanna kisses Daniel to prove that he is wrong.
In the restaurant, Daniel is increasingly developing his own creativity with the dishes, but Hugo and Thomas sometimes slow him down.
Hanna tells Daniel that she is having an affair with her boss Thomas and is in love with Thomas. After Hanna found out that she was pregnant by Thomas, she wanted to be with Thomas properly. However, he does not want to leave his wife and holds out Hanna. When Hanna later passes out, Thomas takes her to the hospital and asks Daniel to stay with her. Hanna escapes from the hospital and goes with Hugo and Daniel to his mother in Spain. There he confronts his Spanish friend Eva. Both realize that their relationship has ended. On the beach in Spain, Daniel accidentally discovers an abandoned restaurant.
Back in Zurich, Daniel increasingly disputes Hugo's position in the restaurant. He then leaves the restaurant in an argument. Daniel will become Thomas 'right hand man and will play an important role in Thomas' new restaurant in London. Hanna has now left Zurich and returned to Munich because she wants to be alone and want to start all over again. She does not say goodbye to Daniel, just leaves him a farewell letter.
A few months later Daniel visits Hugo, who is now working in another restaurant, to make up with him. After they are reconciled, Hugo lends Daniel his car and encourages him to go to Munich to visit Hanna. He tells her that he will quit the restaurant in Zurich in order to go his own way and confesses his love to her. However, Hanna does not want to reply because she assumes that they will hurt themselves at some point. When Hanna suddenly went into labor, Daniel stayed with the birth of her daughter. However, he then leaves Munich.
Ten months later Daniel was renovating the restaurant he discovered on the beach in Spain when Hanna showed up with her daughter. Daniel and Hanna kiss on the beach and Hanna asks him if he still needs a sommelier in his new restaurant.
