Bonacossaweg
The Bonacossaweg (ital .: Sentiero A. Bonacossa ), named after the mountaineers and climbers Alberto Bonacossa in cards as path no. 117 and Dolomite mountain trail called no. 4, is a light, sometimes with fixed rope equipped mountain trail in related insurance the Sexten Dolomites , a mountain group in the Southern Limestone Alps . It connects the Three Peaks with the mountains of the Cadini Group ( Cadini di Musurina ) and is very popular, especially in midsummer, because of its impressive view of the Three Peaks.
The starting point for the ascent is the Auronzo hut ( Rifugio Auronzo ) at an altitude of 2320 meters. From there, the path leads south in a walking time of, according to literature, 6 ½ hours to Lake Misurina . At the Fonda-Savio-Hütte (2359 m) there is the possibility for experienced via ferrata climbers to complete the tour for 4 hours via the Via ferrata Merlone ( Merlone via ferrata , medium difficulty, very exposed , only with via ferrata set ) to the Cima Cadin Nord Extend Est (2796 m).
