Life

Teaching

Buzek saw the transmission of philosophical teaching as his life's work. He had a great influence on many Bohemian popular enlighteners, of whose teachers he was often a member. For example, he taught František Matouš Klácel in Leitomischl, whose first work is based on Buzek's views.

He put his focus on the problem of ethics . He was convinced that there is a higher spiritual level that forms a basis for what happens in the world on the principle of freedom. He opposed all forms of serfdom and slavery , demanded the right to free choice of profession and the equality of all citizens before the law. His handwritten works have since been lost.
