Boomdabash (also Boom Da Bash ) is an Italian reggae group from Salento .

history

In 2002 the DJ Blazon, the two singers Biggie Bash and Payà as well as the beatmaker Mr. Ketra founded the group Boomdabash in Mesagne , initially as a sound system . In 2008 she released her first album Uno , on which she combined lyrics in patois and in the Salentine dialect . After participating in several festivals, the group released the album Mad (e) in Italy . With the single Murder she won the MTV New Generation Contest . In 2012 she took part in the Hit Week Festival in New York , followed in 2013 by the album Superheroes , on which the group u. a. worked with Sud Sound System , Clementino and Ward 21 .

In 2014 Boomdabash returned with L'importante , together with the Otto Ohm group . She was also featured on Fedez 's number one album Pop-Hoolista . The fourth album, Radio Evolution , was released in 2015 and again contained a number of duets, namely with the Bluebeaters , with Alessandra Amoroso and with J-Ax . Appearances with Alborosie and Gentleman followed . The single In un giorno qualsiasi was released in 2017, followed in 2018 by Barracuda (with Fabri Fibra and Jake La Furia ) and the summer hit Non ti dico no (with Loredana Bertè ).

At the Sanremo Festival 2019 , the group reached eleventh place with Per un milione .
